a photo challenge

This picture was taken from a train on the way to Bern - I cant' get over the yellow fields. I'm posting it as an entry to the In a Yellow House's August photo challenge - you should check it out as well as see other amazing photos. This months theme is "On the Road". Hope I don't get disqualified for from the train tracks :)

This is stunning and so vivid. I just checked out the link too and love the pics there as well, plus, they were taken about an hour or so from where i live in NC. Your photography work is great!

This is gorgeous - I think this is a perfect interpretation...I've never really been on a train.

Beautiful colors, I remember backpacking across Europe and seeing all these beautiful scenes along the way. I wish I there would've be digital photography back then. I think I just showed my age. LOL!!!

Great shot.

Gorgeous! I'll vote for you! My Husband wants to go to Bern and bring back a Bernese Mountain Dog. But we are actually dogsitting In a Yellow House's black long hair dog right now while they are on a trip and we have to vacuum every day. I'm hoping this cures it for him.

Oh my gosh, you took it from a train?! You're amazing Krystal, thanks for sharing :)

The new lens that I'm playing with is a 15-85mm Canon f/3.5. It is pretty darn fun!

Have a great day!

this is a really breathtaking photo, and i love the one a little lower with the single cloud! you have some great work.

And thanks for speaking up on my blog today, it means alot! You know, I'm just like you as far as blogs I read. It's tough to look at the girls in Marc Jacobs heels and designer garb! Fun to look at for a minute I guess, but it's definitely not helping my fashion life. But even if I had a lot of money, I just don't think I could justify spending it on such costly items.
