I like the side by side comparison. I am a fan of taking photos of doors, but I also like the idea of photographingr walls.

When in NY a number of years ago I had this very brusk - and probably unintentionally funny - American guy push past me saying "geez - she's taking pictures of fruit.....!!". I laughed then and I laugh still at the memory. Speak as you find I say....! Mattered not a jot - I wanted that picture! Unfortunately that was back in the SLR days so never posted anywhere.

I prefer the Florence walls (only 'cause I've been there!). Again, back in the SLR days. One day I will get some of those pics on my blog - mark my words!

Great attention to detail! I love your collage :)

I sometimes feel people look at me weird when I'm photographing the walls in LA rather then the main attractions. I think there's a lot of detail and interesting patterns on walls, you captured that concept with your photos (:

I love all the pictures you've posted here, but I don't quite get this - if you don't mind, can you tell me why the left side is Rome, the right side is Florence?

p.s, reading your blog is such a job, I am following you now :)

Oh I'm totally always the girl taking pictures of weird things. And this is usually in my own city. Pair that with taking outfit photos of myself and I'm pretty sure half of my city thinks I'm a freak!! That's why I love living in a city, you're never the weirdest person (thank goodness).
